The enterprise was founded at
this place in 1845. Since then it is in the property of the
Trurnit family.
In the beginning the enterprise was conducted as a wire drawing
firm. But as early as in 1853, additional automatic machines
were purchased for the production of wire nails by machines.
Since 1963, the emphasis of manufacture was on wire pins,
threaded nails and special types of fastenings. In 1963, the
production of Duroplast service parts was introduced, and
in 1980 the initial fastening elements made of Thermoplast
were manufactured.
Currently we produce a large number of articles with a team
of 20 employees on modern machines under the management of
the owner of the firm, Friedrich Trurnit.
Presently, EF-TE fastening elements are leaving our enterprise
in large numbers, from the plain special steel nail to the
European-wide patented folding dowel system, to be processed
by all types of customers in the construction industry, in
forestry, in the automotive and in the electrical industry.
